"This is a new roleplay following the Halloween RP! I tried to base it loosely off of the original BlogClan roleplay site, but this probably isn't 100% accurate.
RULES: Please read the rules, they are necessary. They are here.
Here are the groups... BLOGCLAN
Situated in the forest, these cats hunt in the undergrowth and are talented tree-climbers. They hunt mainly mice, squirrels, rabbits, and birds, though will occasionally steal eggs from birds nests and will sometimes catch a fish or two from the stream that runs through their territory. They are known for their kindness.
Their camp is situated in the center of the forest, built around a huge oak tree that gives shade to the entire camp. The leaders den is in the oak tree itself, in a little space that's hollowed out over time. The deputy's den is under the roots of the tree, protecting it's inhabitant from wind and rain. The warriors den is a fairly deep hole that's been dug into the ground and given a ceiling of brambles. It has a small hole at the edge that cats can climb in and out of for an entrance. The nursery is a sweet-smelling rose bush, protecting the youths of the Clan and their mothers from unwelcome attackers. The apprentice's den is a large and thick hallow branch, lined with moss to make it comfortable, and the elder's den is an old badger's set.
THE DUSK SYNDICATE
This Clan's territory occupies the beach, the cliffs and the very edge of the forest. They're exceptionally talented climbers from birth, as many of the dens are in hollowed out caves in the cliff! Each cat has to jump from ledge to get to the destination they need, and more than a few Syndicate cats have fallen to their deaths when they weren't paying attention. The few exceptions are the nursery, where cats raise their young, which is a tunnel in the sand supported by sticks and stones, the novices den, a tree stump which landed in the sand during a storm many moons ago, and the healers' den, which is a space between a rock leaning against the cliff at an angle. The leader's den is situated the highest on the cliff, a nod to their power and nobility, their heir's just below. Other cats related to the leader, but aren't the current heir, sleep in a den just the left. The recruit's den is a little further down, one of the largest dens. The elders' den is to the right and below.
One notable thing about the Syndicate is that each new leader does not choose a new deputy like BlogClan does- rather, it's a monarchy. The heir is the eldest kit of the current leader, whether they're a she-cat or tom. If no kits are available, the title will pass to the eldest grandkit, or if they aren't available, a sibling, neice or nephew. It is automatically determined, and a leader changing the heir because they think the heir unfit to rule in the future is highly frowned upon, leading to some vicious, ruthless or incompetent leaders rising to power in the past. They do not have warrior names- they keep the same name for the entirety of their lives and it's always a single word. Recruits are the equivalent of warriors, and novices are the equivalent of apprentices. There are usually multiple healers.
The centerpiece of their camp is the Cragstone Tower on the beach, a mound of rocks leaning against their cliff. Legends say that the first ever Syndicate leader, Custos, was killed here and sealed into the stone. The leader makes announcements from here.
They mainly hunt fish from the ocean, although will occasionally eat a mouse, vole or thrush from the edge of the forest that they own. They often gather in a little clearing near the cliff, or on the beach.
THE TRIBE OF MELTING ICE
These secretive and proud group of cats live on a mountain on BlogClan and The Dusk Syndicate's border. The mountain is rocky, icy, snowy, and has patches of trees. It is so large that it reaches the sky. It's almost always cold in their territory, no matter the season, and prey is usually hard won. Tribe cats are underfed, and rarely associate with the other three groups of the forest unless they're in desperate need of help, since they're immensely proud. They sometimes have problems with The Mountain Cats and outsiders that live on the other two mountains.
The Tribe cats mainly hunt eagles, but terrifyingly, eagles also hunt them. Their territory is bigger than the others and they rarely bother to set borders, as no cat wants the rugged mountains they call home.
Their camp is in a surprisingly warm, spacious cave low in the mountainside, concealed mostly by fallen snow. The prey hunters, cave guards, to-bes and elders all sleep in the same room, though often in their little groups in nests composed of eagle feathers. The healer and their own to-be usually stay awake at night, receiving signs and such from StarClan. They receive these signs from a pool in their cave. The cave is much warmer than most, yet ice always seems to be forming and then melting, dripping into the pool.
MARSHCLAN
MarshClan is a Clan in shambles, having fled their old home far, far away. They named themselves after the marshes they used to live on but when floods ravaged their territory and left them with nothing, they were forced to leave in search of a new home. Many cats are not happy with MarshClan joining them, deeming them untrustworthy and weak. They think they aare rogues and loners who have no home. But slowly, MarshClan is beginning to revive itself, and grow strong once again. The other groups are beginning to accept them, and with hard work they are seeing s much brighter future.
OUTSIDE THE CLANS' TERRITORIES
Outside the four territories, there's an endless world of rolling hills and lush green grass. To the east there is a winding stream. Nearby to the north there's a Twoleg farm. It includes several fields of animals. Sheep, horses, cows, chickens and such can all be found nearby.
In the centre of the four territories lies a clearing where Gatherings are held every full moon. Four rocks stand in a row, each with varying heights, where the leaders stand.
But past the farm, across the stream and over the hills, a small cavern stands, undisturbed and positively serene. Go into the cavern, leap down the hole and you'll find the Moonflower, StarClan's gift to us. It looks like any other flower in the daytime, but come twilight, it comes into bloom. Its petals shimmer softly with the colours of the moon and sun, its leaves an odd but breathtaking silver. It blows ever so slightly in the breeze that comes from nowhere. Its scent feels as calm and safe as being enveloped in a mossy blanket and being rocked gently to sleep. Medicine cats and healers come here every half moon to share news and dreams.
TWOLEGPLACE
The Twolegplace lies south of the territories, branching off of the open lands. Here, it is dank, quiet, dusty and dark. Loner and rogue groups tread the alleys and streets, some aggressive and looking for fights, some calm and content. Besides the groups, there are kittypets, who roam the gardens and fences by the streets, and the others, who are loners and rogues who do not have allegiance to any group.
The four territories stay away from the Twolegplace as much as possible, though the groups and cats inside are as busy by themselves as ever.
THE OTHER MOUNTAINS
Whilte the Tribe rules one mountain, there are two others you can roleplay about: a dry desert mountain, not hugely tall, but with very few plants and water sources. Lots of dips and a few cliffs and caves for homes. The other mountain is a water-based one. Lots of streams and waterfalls, with cave-mouths dripping. A small lake is beneath it. A few reeds/bushes and some trees. Resembles RiverClan territory, but on a mountain. The Mountain Cats are the major group on the water mountain.
The Clans rarely interact with them, except the Tribe, who sometimes clash with the Mountain Cats.
STARCLAN
StarClan is the Clan of pure-hearted, perished cats that watch over the four territories. These cats are calm and caring, and live hospitably with one another. StarClan is composed of a bright, luscious, colourful forest with a ghostly-white tinge to it. In the middle is the large clearing, with a dusty-brown ground. Cats sleep here in the endless sunlight, and share tongues. StarClan territory is beautiful and surreal, and any good cat who dies is lucky enough to end up here.
Sadly, StarClan must always keep an eye out for one other particularly dangerous group. This group is also made up of ancestors of the four territories, but its inhabitants are anything but kind...
THE DARK FOREST
The Dark Forest contains every dark, murderous, dangerous and unpredictable soul that has died in the four territories. The cats here are cruel, sly, and eternally calculating. They antagonize StarClan cats and hate them with all of their mind. The cats here train young, brainwashed cats, and can even put them to battle. No cat wants to end up here, but if they do, they can never escape...
The Dark Forest is a deep, shady, freezing, warped forest with rocks and boulders jutted in between. The trees are tall and reach up into the dark, indigo-and-black sky. The clearing has sharp pine needles and pebbles all over the ground, with dust and bacteria everywhere. Running through the heart of the forest and by the clearing is a wide river, with black, gooey and oily water. StarClan may be beautiful, but the Dark Forest is revolting and terrifying.
